Show your EGO who’s boss
EGO—we all have one. And yours can serve you well if you know how to reign it in. Yes, your ego is separate from you—and monitoring, managing and controlling it can be advantageous to you. Uncontrolled, an ego can be detrimental and can be the trigger for pain and hurt.
Just as knives can do harm or be useful in the kitchen, our egos can be self-centered or used to make the world a better place.
Managed, an ego is good. It is not something you want to be without as some spiritual traditions claim, nor is the ego to be judged.
Rather, the ego should be embraced. Knowing how our egos function can help us achieve goals and evolve—which leads us to a place of loving all creation. And that, of course, includes the ego itself.
